It all kicks off at 9 pm and goes until 1 pm Saturday, August 21 at Holford Park Public Pool in Garland with the Dog-a-Poolooza 2010. Admission for dogs is $5 per dog and humans are $1. Vendors booths and food will be available and rescue groups will be there with dogs if you are interested in adopting. The pool is at 2322 Homestead Place in Garland, right off of North Shiloh Road in Garland, between Buckingham and Beltline.

If that isn't enough swimming for your dog this weekend, Rowlett ends it for you with another doggie splash event at The Wet Zone. This event starts Sunday evening, August 22nd, between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. Cost is $5 per dog and humans get in free. The Wet Zone is a fully equipped water park with lots of activities for four legged swimmers. It is located at 5304 Main Street in Rowlett, off of Kirby Road between Highway 66 and Miller Road.

Both events require proof of rabies vaccinations for each dog. There are even more events to come at the major waterparks in the area in September, so get your dogs ready.
