Diablo Cody is an Oscar-winning screenwriter, a published author and now, a mother.


Cody confirmed yesterday via Twitter that she and husband Dan Maurio welcomed a son, Marcello Daniel Maurio.  According to Cody, the baby weighs 7 lbs. 5 oz. and is "lightly mustachioed."


Besides winning an Academy Award for penning the film Juno, the Chicago native also created the acclaimed Showtime series United States of Tara and wrote the memoir Candy Girl about her year as a stripper in Minnesota.
