It isn't easy being green - Power Ranger Jason David Frank @WizardWorld

Most celebrities would be happy to have a steady stream of fans to keep them busy and making money when they are at a con. Some seem to thrive on it. Jason David Frank (most noted for his role as Tommy Oliver, the Green Mighty Morphin Power Ranger) is one who can't see to do enough when he is at a con. His fans love him and he clearly cares about them. Today, Sunday August 24, at Wizard World in Chicago he was was spending his time well after the con was over and all the tables in his section of the convention hall were empty, making sure that his fans were happy.

Celebrities of the con spend hours in the convention hall signing autographs, getting pictures with their fans and chatting with them. Some will have panels where their fans can hear them speak and answer audience questions. Special ones will have paid meet and greets where their fan can meet them in a more intimate social setting. This weekend at the Wizard World Comic Convention in Chicago Mr. Frank had meet and greets with fans Saturday and Sunday as well as panels both days.

In addition to his panels and guest appearances he has also been judging at the Wizard World Adult Costume contests for the past year and a half. His appreciation for cosplay and cosplayers shines through during the costume contests. Without Jarrett Crippen as the MC at this year's con his humor and playfulness kept the contest from becoming an assembly line of costumed characters being rushed across the stage as the MC strived to keep the show down to ninty minutes.

His infectious love for the con and his fans has now spread to his wife, Tammy. This con she had a fifteen minute session with the audience before his panel began on Sunday. While it may not be easy being green, Jason David Frank embraces it with a passion, he's green and loving it!
