According to Rolling Stone, it was reported on Feb.23 that the third oldest member of the Jackson 5, Jermaine has changed one letter in his last name making it officially Jermaine Jacksun.
Jacksun told officials that the slight name change is not a “big deal” and is a “personal choice” for him. The brother of Janet and Michael Jackson and 58 year old singer had first filed the petition for the name change back in November, 2012. The slight name change was approved Wednesday after there was a hearing on the matter.
It seems to me he is trying to make his own identity known and good for him to do it since Michael and Janet Jackson have been taking the spotlight for all these years. Although it is only a one letter change and he says it is for personal reasons maybe he will start to come out more with his singing and we will start to hear more about him.
