Israel is releasing 26 Palestinian prisoners out of its jails tomorrow, Tuesday, October 29, with the second round of prisoner releases to comply with peace process agreements.
If anyone thinks that this helps Israel in any way to alleviate tensions between the two peoples you really ought to reevaluate your strategies on what might be a solution to this 65 year old conflict.
The first batch of terrorists were released yesterday. In between several rockets were fired from Gaza essentially saying this doesn’t change anything. Israel answered by sending jets to take out some rocket launchers the Palestinian didn’t know that the Israelis knew about.
And, so it goes.
All of the prisoners released are long term inmates. All are in jail for murdering Israelis. Only one that is being released was arrested after the Oslo Accords were signed in 1993.

So, maybe since these are all old offenders maybe time has softened their hatred of Israel and Jews ruling over their sacred land.
Not on your life.
Letting jailed terrorists out does nothing but increase the chance that more Jews will die as a result. And, what does it do toward bringing peace any closer? If you want to know look at the other prisoner releases that Israel has agreed to in the last thirty years. No peace then and, chances are no peace now.
