JT is a goal scoring machine:

John Tavares is on a three-game goal scoring streak and has seven goals in his last eight games. Tavares ranks second among NHL forwards in average time on ice (22:05), behind Ilya Kovalchuck (26:00).

Power Plant:

On Monday the Islanders tallied power play goals, it marked the first time since Feb. 14, 2008 (at Toronto) the Isles have scored four power play goals in a game. It was also the first time since October 14, 1978 (a 10-7 loss in Toronto) the Isles tallied four power play goals in a loss.

Iron Moulson:

Matt Moulson's games-played streak stands at 258 games. He has yet to miss a game in his career. The only player with a longer consecutive-games streaks are Billy Harris (576), Bobby Nystrom (301) and Denis Potvin (262).

Josh Bailey is three goals shy of 50

Kyle Okposo is five assists shy of 100

Andrew MacDonald is six assists shy of 50
