ISF and Morgan State University host Innovative S.T.E.M. Conference this weekend

Innovative S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Foundation, (ISF) is a Baltimore based nonprofit organization. The purpose of ISF is "to educate children in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics." ISF in conjunction with Morgan State University is hosting their 6th annual Innovative S.T.E.M Conference (ISC). The conference is taking place March 7-9, 2013, at the BWI Hilton. The three day conference has consisted of dinner for all attendees, presentations by high school and college students from all over Maryland, scholarship information, demonstrations, and an awards presentation. Some of the corporations participating in this event are NASA, The National Aquarium, US Army, US Air Force, Amtek, and The National Electronics Museum. According to Stem Advantage.org, U.S. students rank 17th in science and 25th in math when compared to other students around the world. ISF is one organization helping to raise awareness about STEM.
