Isaiah Washington talks ‘Grey’s’ return on ‘Arsenio’

Film and televison actor Isaiah Washington appeared on “The Arsenio Hall Show” Tuesday night where he discussed his much anticipated return to the hit ABC show “Grey’s Anatomy” as Dr. Preston Burke. The “Blackbird” star made sure he didn’t disclose any spoilers but teased that fans were in for a great show.

“I can say this…you guys will not be disappointed.”

Washington called being back on set and working with departing “Grey’s” star Sandra Oh “glorious”. He says the energy between their characters that fans remember is still there. Washington’s Dr. Burke will help tie up the storyline for Oh’s character Dr. Christina Yang. In addition to his comeback on “Grey’s Anatomy” Washington can be seen on the CW’s “The 100” which airs on Wednesday’s at 9 p.m. ET.

Moviegoers meanwhile can look for him in the indie films “Blackbird” with Academy Award winner Mo’Nique, the critically acclaimed “Blue Caprice”and the upcoming sports drama “Game Time Decision”.
