The Hunger Games isn’t out yet, but the buzz about the movie has got the fans talking. Isabelle Fuhrman was on the red carpet of the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards on Thursday night talking about her character and she definitely knows fans are expecting a lot. While she would reveal too much, safe to say her character Clove will be as close as possible to the book.
"I tried to stick to the book as much as I could with Clove because she is such a different character. You are going to like what you see,” said Isabelle Fuhrman. The actress definitely had to work hard to bring the character to life. “I got to learn how to throw knives, how to fight and do combat and do parkour.”
The chance to be in the movie wasn’t taken lightly by Fuhrman. Not an easy crier, the actress explained how overwhelmed she became when she found out she got the part.
“I was such a fan of the books when I got the roll I cried. I only cried once before,” stated Isabelle Fuhrman.
Careful not to give away any of the storyline of the film, Fuhrman promised fans wouldn’t be disappointed with Clove. Working hard to make the character perfect, Isabelle apparently focused on her acting craft so fans would be delighted.
