Atlanta Isabella Rossellini fans, earlier today, October 25, 2011, the actress attended the New York City Center ribbon cutting ceremony for their reopening and accompanying performance.
Sporting her new short, fringed hairstyle, Ms Rossellini was dressed in an elegant black and white ensemble which included a gorgeous, fully embroidered long black coat with cream embroidery.
Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker also attended, with SJP wearing a black monochrome outfit complete with black stockings, handbag and pumps.
Diana Taylor, who is the domestic partner of the New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg (loved the deep red tie!) and attending the event, wore a grey skirt suit with a va va va voom animal print tie collar top, fancily tied to the side, which she accessorized with matching grey pumps.
Actress Donna Murphy wore a lovely one-strapped black gown, which she accessorized with a dark red clutch to throw in a splash of color to this clearly black tie (or should we say red tie!) event!
Actors and husband and wife team Allyson Tucker and Brian Stokes Mitchell also sported black but similarly, Brian’s red tie lent a splash a color.
News anchor Brian Williams attended with wife Jane Stoddard Williams, who wore her LBD (little black dress) with a huge decorative bow, cinched in at the waste with a belt.
Mayor Bloomberg, who is known to wield the rhythm stick on occasion, also conducted the orchestra for the evening.
