Is this a sneak preview of Paul McCartney's new album?

Paul McCartney's next album might be a combination of new and old, according to Andre Gardner, host of "Breakfast With the Beatles" in Philadelphia and Phoenix. Gardner posted a very interesting piece of information about it today on Facebook

"Word is Paul McCartney will release his first new album in almost five years in February. It's rumored to be called 'My Valentine.' More details as we get 'em but, as of now, it's reported to be a mix of old standards and new material," he wrote.

The idea of McCartney recording of "old standards" has been around for a while. We wrote last year that Rolling Stone had a report then that he would be doing a full album of them.

"I've wanted to do that (old standards) forever since the Beatle days," he told Rolling Stone. "But Rod (Stewart) went mad on it. I thought, 'I have to wait so it doesn't look like I'm trying to do a Rod." The magazine reported he'd recorded 12 songs, including a few with Diana Krall.

With this new news, however, it would seem that McCartney has changed course.

One place you'll definitely notice a change is on Paul McCartney's Facebook page. It now features a picture of him and the new Lady Nancy McCartney.

Gardner's show, by the way, airs on WMGK-FM (http://www.wmgk.com/) in Philadelphia and KSLX-FM (http://kslx.com/) in Phoenix from 7-9 a.m. local time Sundays. Both stations are streamed on the internet.
