Is this a possible season 3 'Orange Is the New Black' spoiler?

"Orange Is the New Black," one of the phenomenons that helped Netflix become a powerhouse leader in the streaming business, is in the news again but this time for a completely different reason. It is confirmed that Lorraine Toussaint, one of season 2's major characters, has just been signed on to play a cop on "Forever," ABC's new drama series. So what will happen to her character, the villainous and wildly entertaining Vee, who helped spark the majority of the show's latest drama? This is the latest question that has viewers scrambling for answers.

Now any true fan of this Netflix original series is aware that season 2 ends (warning: spoiler alert) with Toussaint's character, Vee, escaping prison. She is not granted the freedom she desires as she is then tragically run over by the show's number one badass, Rosa, played by the incredible Barbara Rosenblat. The viewer is left uncertain on whether or not Vee survives the accident but this latest news may just have an answer for the show's audience.

Toussaint wouldn't be the first OITNB cast member to be juggling two acting jobs as Laura Prepon, who plays Alex Vause, did so all of season 2 so this latest news doesn't mean that the story of Vee isn't necessarily over.

What do you think, did that car crash kill Vee or is Lorraine Toussaint simply an in-demand actress who will be splitting up her time between two jobs? This wouldn't be the first time that Netflix has left its members unsure of one of its series next moves. Leave your comments below.
