Is There Anybody in There? Just Nod if You Can Hear Me

During a recent barefoot beach trot earlier this week I was doing my usual part to pick up some trash and recycling when I came across an oval piece of plastic on the shoreline. When I turned the shape over I was amused to see that it had been a sticker that read Save Our Oceans, http://www.peaceproject.com/. I’m all about a non-polluted ocean and everything else, including our poor contaminated minds, which is why I was the one person that would have picked up this profound message of miscommunication as we all know that plastic in our oceans is major polluting factor. http://www.plasticoceans.net/the-facts/ This incident both humorously and disgustedly reminded me that I get a lot of snail mail from such organizations as Defenders of Wildlife, Sierra Club, PETA, Arbor Day Foundation, and many others. I have been a member of or have donated to most of these culprits sending things. Each one requests donations or membership renewals with too much hoopla of their importance using many sheets of paper for news and special paper for address labels, which I do like but am now overloaded, and really special paper for calendars. Whatever happened to saving trees? The environmental entities need to revamp and walk the full walk, using other means of advertising and fundraising methods to share the message of hope though I’m not sure we can make it back to being able to head into anything but inevitable destruction as a race that takes all down with it, NO REALLY! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overpopulation I’m not the only realist that is losing hope for the chances for us to globally turn this destruction around, and to think I wanted to keep this piece light and uplifting, a bit of research on your part will show how we continue to be the pawns of the big machine and are so willing to get in line and walk right into the molten destruction of a global society that must be part of your master planners grand design. Don’t take my word for it, see for yourself and try if your lame ass can to rise above your simple self seeking self and be ready to fight for what is right, join the movement for what is right not just what feels good but what is good. Do you believe that your God has given you life so you can help destroy it for all life or just be a pawn for those that could care less about anything but the here and now? A legacy for future generations of our muck and polluted wasteland, or a glimmer of hope if we act now and show the world that WE THE PEOPLE are in charge?
