I wish I had a dollar for every time I hear this question, if I did I would be a rich man. This seems to be the ultimate question for people who are trying or are about to begin to lose weight. I wish I had a simple answer for all of you, but the truth is that there is no simple way to lose weight. It’s easy to put the weight on, but to take it off is a different story.
It takes hard work and determination in order to effectively lose weight. The problem I see with most diets and fads is that they’re short term solutions and not effective in the long run. The reason I say this is because no one is going to count calories the rest of their lives, or drink shakes and take pills forever. Simply put, you the only REAL way to keep the weight off is by maintaining or creating a habit around your diet and exercise.
Now you don’t have to go crazy and eat leaves all day long and workout like Rocky Balboa, you simply have to just watch what you eat and maintain a simple exercise routine. This doesn’t mean that you have to jump into it as well, start off slow and create a habit around you efforts. Build up to the point that you get comfortable eating and exercising regularly. If you don’t you will end up quitting way before you see any results.
