Alan Keyes' rant that soldiers should refuse orders given by President Obama has produced at least one tangible example. World Net Daily reports that Scott Easterling a U.S. soldier on active duty in Iraq has called President Obama an "impostor" in a statement in which he affirmed plans to join as plaintiff in a challenge to Obama's eligibility to be commander in chief.
The statement was publicized by California attorney Orly Taitz who, along with her Defend Our Freedom Foundation, is working on a series of legal cases seeking to uncover Obama's birth records and other documents that would reveal whether he meets the requirements of the U.S. Constitution.
"As an active-duty officer in the United States Army, I have grave concerns about the constitutional eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama to hold the office of president of the United States," wrote Scott Easterling in a "to-whom-it-may-concern" letter.
"Until Mr. Obama releases a 'vault copy' of his original birth certificate for public review, I will consider him neither my Commander in Chief nor my President, but rather, a usurper to the Office – an impostor," his statement said.
WND reported yesterday that U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., said during a meeting with constituents in Cullman County he has never seen proof the new president was born in Hawaii.
"Well, his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven't seen any birth certificate," Shelby said. "You have to be born in America to be president."
Recently President Obama’s picture was removed from a base commissary in Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, prompting a challenge by employees as it was allegedly removed after one customer complained noting Obama’s race.
While this may not be a trend, it is noteworthy that the hostility is so openly practiced by those sworn to uphold the Constitution. As President, Ronald Reagan started the practice of treating the military as an adjunct to the Republican Party. Senator Jesse Helms warned President Clinton that if he visited a military base in North Carolina he may be shot and President George W. Bush routinely used members of the military as props during public relations tours.

Easterling is in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. He needs to be court-martialed and removed from the military.
Now I know that Obama doesn't want to turn this into a "show". That's not his style. But I hope he is doing something about it behind the scene. Otherwise it will become a serious problem.

The Obama birth certificate thing has already run its course. The state of Hawaii has confirmed that Obama was indeed born there. Lawyers tell us that affidavits were signed by the state, verifying that he was born there. Look it up. Hawaii has a law that no one can access birth certificates with the exception of the owner. Every case brought before a US judge has been laughed out of court.
And more importantly, the US Constitution says, to run for president, the candidate must be a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. To further demonstrate, every child born in the US of illegal aliens is considered a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN, regardless of the parents not being citizens. That child has the right according to the constitution to run for US president some day. Obama's mother was born in Missouri and his father in Africa. His mother is a natural born citizen. His father was not a citizen. Obama is a natural born citizen of the US in the state of Hawaii.

The Article II Requirmement of Natural Born Citizen is speaking of a higher restriction than simply Citizen at Birth.
Those born in the US to Non-Citzens are Amendment XIV Citizens at Birth.
But they are not Article II Natural Born Citizens.
When they were drafting the XIV Amendent they specifically, willingly explictly refrained from using the term Natural Born Citizen.
Natural Born Citizen as referred to in Article II means one born in US Soil in a condition that leaves one with no other allegiance than to the United States .. which means, born with the living parents being Citizens of the US

The problem of politics in the military is more subtle and complex than you would believe. I have been active duty and reserve. There is a bit of indoctrination in the military right now that assumes you are of right-wing bent. If you are identified as being anything else, promotions will suffer and you may end up out. The constitution is not understood and ignored (routinely), as are environmental regulations because they are percieved as being "liberal".

Where Obama was born became moot the day after the elction. Barack Obama is now the Constitutionally Legal President of The United States of America.

How is this possible, and legal?

There is no greater authority. Not our three branch government, who work for us, and can be called out to address our grievances any time WE THE PEOPLE see fit.
And most certainly not the U.S. Constitution, which is the Supreme Law of the Land, yet still second in authority to the Will of the People.
The Constitution was written to control our government and our commerce. It was never written to control WE THE PEOPLE. No legislative fiat or governing decision can usurp its authority, so neither can our government employees usurp the authority of WE THE PEOPLE.
