Teresa Giudice is reportedly more trouble than she is worth.
Just days after sources claimed the Bravo star was making a whopping $700,000 for the sixth season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," a new report has surfaced, claiming Giudice's recent behavior may lead to her exit.
“Bravo bosses are starting to think that Teresa just isn’t worth keeping around if her diva behavior continues,” an insider revealed to Radar Online on July 21. “The network is very sensitive to the fact that she is facing a looming prison sentence, and has tried to work with her during this difficult time. But Teresa has cut back substantially on media appearances to promote the show, and has been acting like a diva, as the New York Post story last week revealed. From being unhappy with the choice of alcohol, and the dress she wore, Teresa complained the entire time.”
On July 17, a source told Radar Online that Giudice was making $700,000 for season six, as her co-stars all made significantly less. While Giudice's sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, was pulling in a reported $250,000, the other three cast members, Teresa Aprea, Nicole Napolitano and Amber Marchese, were making just $60,000 each.
With such a big pay day, producers were surely banking on Giudice pulling the show, but according to reports, the show isn't doing well so far this season. In fact, it's doing downright bad, which likely has the producers scrabbling to fix the series' disconnect with fans.
The behavior “just detracts from the show and creates more drama,” the insider added of Giudice. “Teresa has been openly voicing her criticisms and complaints to anyone who will listen, and thinks there is no way she would ever be fired from the show.”
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
