Is something causing infants of military families to die?

Our hearts go out to yet another military family that has had another infant die while living in military housing. Are the possible causes correctly being studied? What are the credentials of the people involved in previously studying this problem? How reliable are the tests that are being done?  What has been adequately ruled out and why have they been eliminated?

Could it be toxic mold causing the deaths of these infants?  If it is toxic mold that may be the culprit, what have they found to be present in the residences of these infants? Toxid mold targets our neurological system and has been known to have an affect on our immune system. There is a great deal of information on toxic mold and it has been shown that there are specific  types of mold that are associated with affecting our health. Does that mean that mold that has formed in a wet closet and behind wall paper, the type of mold that could sicken these infants? Have they been able to define how to adequately remove toxic mold? When we hear the word mold, we associated it as a by product of a wet, musty environment that is harboring dangerous spores that we can breathe into our lungs. Is there a permissible level of toxic mold that may not make us sick?

Why was there speculation that Chinese dry wall may be in these buildings?  Chinese dry wall has been documented to off gas hydrogen sulfide, which in high concentrations can be fatal. Hydrogen sulfide is a chemical asphyxiant that can rob our bodies of vital amounts of oxygen  being dispersed into our blood stream.  Chinese manufacturers of dry wall have not  cooperated and given us an exact list of the chemicals that are used when making their products. How can we even know how to adequately research these chemicals without knowing what is in dry wall? What other toxins may be taking the lives of these babies?

Is everything being done to ensure that infants that are living in military housing are safe from unknown toxins? How many more precious babies will die before the proper answers are found? Time is passing by and the lists of infants that have died in military housing is unfortunatly multiplying.  We all know that military parents have been in " harms way" themselves. Are military babies inadvertently being placed in "harms way also?   This issue needs to become a high priority and congress should be holding more hearings on this topic immediately.  Our military families need all of our help and support and need to know that their babies can live to enjoy long happy and health lives.
