Is solar a reliable source of energy?

As of 2011, solar technologies were remarkable enough to provide power to about 630, 000 American homes. Businesses and residents are pushing to get greater utilization of solar panels and technology, bringing special attention to residential areas.

 “What’s happened is it’s become a political issue, rather than the public really taking an accurate look at what’s really going on in the solar industry,” according to SEIA President Rhone Resch, declaring that it is “one of the fastest growing industries in the United States today.”

“That story needs to get out there,” he continues. Currently, about 7% of Minneapolis homes are powered by solar panels.  On January 25th, at the Minneapolis “Green Ideas and Ham Breakfast,” were discussed some ideas of whether solar energy will continue to work in Minnesota.

In basically all of the analyses, they concluded that solar energy will work, as opposed to all of the solar energy “myths,” some of which incorporate the idea that there wouldn’t be enough jobs created.
