For those who remember when travel was glamorous and service impeccable, Pan American Airways may be back in 2014. On April 23, Pan American Airways announced they have entered into an operational agreement with a premiere consultancy boutique that will provide comprehensive in-depth services to complete a formal reintegration plan for the Pan American brand into many LCC and charter markets as a provider of scheduled airline services.
The airline is projected point of entry is late quarter four of 2013 through late quarter one of 2014. Pan American Airways is currently active in pursuing hub locations throughout various southern tier states, and will release decisions through upcoming media press statements in future content.
The news prompted cheers among former Pan American Airways crew members from around the globe. Former Pan Am crew members and fans of the brand have kept the airline alive since the airline folded in 1991. The brand has gained renewed interest over the years with the launch of the ABC Pan Am television show, and the luggage and accessory company Pan Am brands, at www.panam.com.
