The cast and story makers of “Once Upon A Time” teased that the show could be taking a new direction when the two-part season finale ends, according to E! Online on March 5.
Show runners Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz were recently on hand with many of the cast from the show to tease about upcoming story lines, characters and changes in store for the show. Rumors have been flying for some time about a Peter Pan/Neverland tie in and it would seem it may be on the horizon.
The season two finale will be a two part affair. The first episode is entitled “Second Star To The Right” which will be followed by the finale entitled “And Straight On Til Morning”.
If that isn’t enough to convince you, in the last episode, Neal remarked to Emma that he had spent some time in another world before coming to this one otherwise he’d be significantly older. Don’t the kids in Neverland stop aging once they arrive?
Kitsis and Horowitz also hinted about a new character that would be teased in the finale but won’t actually be seen until season 3. They also promise that season three will delve deeper into Hook’s backstory.
This all sounds decidedly like a trip to Neverland is on the horizon. Will you be on board for the trip?
“Once Upon A Time” airs on Sundays at 7 p.m. on ABC.
