It must be all the drama we've seen on the other 'Real Housewives' franchise, but the D.C. divas were a tad bit boring. Or perharps just subdued and much better behaved.
Let's skip the fashion or lack thereof.
The breakout fashionista of the ladies' debut was definitely 'White House party crasher' Michaele Salahi. From Versace to Dior to everything in between for fall fashion, Salahi seems to have a flair for luxe style. Not affordable, recessionista-frienldy fashion, but luxe, 'i'm not having financial issues' style. And who can blame her? Someone who loves to hug everyone and who loves everyone deserves only the best, right?
While Salahi appears to love stylish threads, one recurring 'female concern' from her 'non-jealous' costars throughout the show was her weight. Does she have an eating disorder? Is she too skinny for her clothes? Is she in the danger zone, like her 'soon-to-be-frenemy' Linda suggests? Or is she as Michaele puts it, just healthy and happy? With all that energy, we doubt Salahi has any time to be hungry.
We anticipate a lot more drama and fashion, and hope that the most stylish look is not Salahi's outfit at the White House State Dinner.
If all else fails, we're pretty sure co-star, Lynda Erkiletian's boyfriend will edge out the ladies as the best dressed 'actor' in this non-scripted franchise.

Lynda Erkiletian, owner of one of D.C's top modeling agencies;
Catherine Ommanney, interior designer and writer;
Michaele Salahi, model, known around town as the White House party crasher; and
Stacie Scott Turner, a political fund-raiser, real estate business owner and philanthropist.

The Salahis are deluded. Michaele has this inflated sense of self and just thinks she should be famous because. Well we all know she is famous because she crashed the White House state dinner and that is it!! She wants everyone to move on and now that we know her we should just be wanting more.

Why is Bravo supporting anorexia. Between Michaele and Rachel Zoe,it's scary, and dangerous. They can have a heart attack and be gone just like that. Anorexia is not glamorous and denial is deadly.
Yea, I agree. She has a good sense of style but the weight issue is a concern. Even if she doesn't have an eating disorder, she needs to consult with a nutritionist and get diet on track to gain a few pounds. And, I agree with Angela too - Rachel Zoe is way too thin. Sometimes I think Rachel is so thin because she works so much...probably stress related too?
