Fans of Kim’s reality series “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” can sleep a little better tonight. On Wednesday, Feb. 20, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Kim Kardashian is not quitting her E! hit show. The news came after rumors that Kim was leaving the show because of boyfriend Kanye West.
Speculation began when it was revealed that Kardashian had signed on for an eighth and ninth season, but would not extend her contract. Sources began to put the blame on Kanye after this statement from Kardashian was released: “My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy,” the star said. “I’m ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships.”
Now, Kardashian is disputing the reports, saying, “As everyone knows, we are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season10. The show remains to be my number 1 priority.”
Kim Kardashian began shooting season 8 of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” this month and is set to premiere in June. It has not been confirmed that it will include Kanye West.
