The final scenes between Billy Abbott and Adam Newman may have revealed a clue to the identity of the real driver of the car that hit and killed Delia Abbott on “The Young and the Restless.”
On “The Young and the Restless” episode that aired on Tuesday, Jan. 28 Billy demands that Adam tell him everything about the night that Delia died. One detail of that night struck a chord with “Y&R” fans who think it is possible that Adam was not the driver responsible for Delia’s death.
Adam explained to Billy how he got out of the car and saw a little dog run away from the scene, yet he did not see anything else. He explained to Billy that there was a little chip knocked out of the turn signal of the vehicle he was driving that night. In tears, Adam asked, “How is that supposed to kill someone?”
Did Adam really hit Delia? Or did he merely see the little dog in the middle of the road and swerve to miss it? Did Delia’s scarf get tangled in the wheel well of Adam’s car because she dropped it when she got out of the car to chase the little dog? Could Kelly, after having a few drinks too many, have been the one who drove by moments later and hit Delia and left the scene of the accident?
