Is Juan Pablo Galavis a control freak? ‘The Bachelor’ told women no alcohol

The BachelorJuan Pablo Galavis seems to be a little bit more of a control freak than most people imagined. Fans might be surprised to learn how controlling this contestant has been compared to other suitors on the show. How so? According to host Chris Harrison, who spoke to the New York Times on Sunday, the contestant decided that the women in the house shouldn’t drink alcohol.

“Juan Pablo didn’t drink at all, and he really impressed upon the girls not to drink and they didn’t,” said Chris Harrison about the situation.

There has been a lot of speculation on whether or not “The Bachelor” contestants get tipsy and talk too much. Everyone has done that at least once and found themselves red faced, but this idea of Juan trying to control the environment is entirely different.

The contestants who didn’t even know the man originally, were being controlled by a guy who they were considering to date. Who does that?

According to Chris Harrison, the show buys the contestants whatever they want to eat and drink. This would have included alcohol upon request. Without the basics of television, radio and even a few gossip magazines, it appears that a glass of vins every once in a while would have been harmless. Except Juan Pablo found that to be out of the question.

If Juan Pablo goes home without a girl, the fans aren’t going to be surprised. A relationship is entered being open and honest. Telling people what they can and cannot do before even meeting them taints every opportunity for a real relationship.
