St. Patrick's Day might be one reason a man feels lucky to have a girl by his side. But the results of the Cincinnati/National kiss-in experiment via the Gillette Company says men get luckier in love if they have a smoothly shaven face. Many recall the kiss-in experiment held on Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati on Jan. 22.
Since then a total of 15 cities across the nation participated in their own kiss-in and Gillette Company was there to tally the results. The event was held to find out if women preferred to pucker up with a man's clean-shaven or stubbled face.
During the experiment men had to arrive with their stubble's in place and pucker up and kiss their gal then the men shaved and puckered up again with their gals. The ladies then decided which they preferred best, a stubble kiss or a clean shaven kiss.
The national tally is in and the results are for the Kiss and Tell Experiment:
- Nearly 2/3 of women in the test preferred a smooth shaven look on their men.
- 2 out of 3 women say men will have better luck with them if they are clean shaven.
- 85% of women preferred to kiss a smooth shaven man.
This St. Patrick's Day couples can try the experiment themselves at home and let the guy decide which one makes him luckier.
