It is hard to believe that the cutey brunette from television and silver screen fame is in her mid-forties. But she is. No matter, as she is as cute and energetic as ever.
Kristen Davis is one of the four actresses from Sex and the City who had, and continues to have, a knack for verbal comedy, but comedy is not her only forte. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Chris Noth are the rest of the main cast for Sex and the City.
This Sex and the City gal (HBO, 1998-2004) has charmed its viewers since the 90s. We also know her, as a villainess, from Melrose Place (1992-1999).
Kristin Landen Davis celebrated her 45th birthday on February 24th. Her interest in acting began from frequent trips to New York City, where her family took her to see Broadway shows.
At age 10 Davis became involved in community theatre, earning her first stage credit in a production of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.” After graduating high school in 1983, Davis relocated to New Jersey, where she earned her BFA in Theater from Rutgers University in 1987.

Like so many acting hopefuls before her, she moved to Manhattan in hopes of earning her big break, spending several years working at various jobs while logging experience in various theatre productions. Her first movie role arrived in 1987, with a supporting part in the low-budget horror film Doom Asylum.

Davis is who we knew as Charlotte York from Sex and the City. She was the only SAC actress to remain steadfastly single during and after the show’s run. In prior years, however, she had been linked to such high-profile suitors as Alec Baldwin (in 2001), Jeff Goldblum (in 2002) and actor-comedian Steve Martin.

In addition to both Sex and the City films, others have been: Couples Retreat (2009), Deck the Halls (2006), The Shaggy Dog (2006) with Tim Allen and Robert Downey, Jr., The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl (2005) with Taylor Lautner and Taylor Dooley, Sour Grapes (2008), Nine Months (1995), Doom Asylum (1988) and Take Me Home: The John Denver Story.

I recently caught an old episode of Sabrina the Teenaged Witch and Kristen Davis was on it, playing a sorority girl.
