As a dangerous movement that has no beginnings and seemingly no end, Gnosticism has brought the Christian nation to its knees (not in prayer but in submission). The definition alone of Gnosticism forces many men on a path of gnostic salvation, some by choice and others unknowingly. The ones who seek salvation in the form of knowledge are likened to a sleepwalker-a morphing of knowledge into a form light in the realm of darkness. The amorphous movement continues today in the guise as post-modernity. Truth as knowledge paralyzes the mind of truth seekers and transforms humanity into a boundless society of zombies (walking dead).
Is God dead? Is not a question thrown in the face of Christianity or Catholicism as an insult. It is a question of concern based on the results of their teachings, and thus belief. Gnosticism posits that God has left humanity to police itself and humanity, and by the looks of the Church it seems the "frozen ones" have been chosen by a frame of mind that agrees with the Gnostic idea of God. The question, 'Is God dead?' positions the seeker to find truth in light of their understanding of God, life, and death. The answer becomes their truth by which life is continually lived. This life is not a metanarrative for all to live, but a single seater couch for the mind to embrace and lazily kick back. When Truth passes through and conflicts with their truth the Church must not change the message but the method, but first their must be a massive unfreezing, a deZombing.
