U.S figure skater Evan Lysacek may have won an Olympic gold medal at the 2010 Vancouver Games, but he's likely in hot water with his rumored girlfriend, Nastia Liukin.

Liukin, an Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast, told People in a Feb. 22 report that Lysacek is her boyfriend.

NASTIA: 'WE'RE A COUPLE'

The pretty 20-year-old blonde says she and Evan, 24, have been dating since last summer.

Liukin recounts:

"We met a couple of years ago at a gymnastics and skating show. We've gotten to know each other really well and [are] able to connect because there's nothing like the Olympics. We both know what it takes to try for the ultimate dream of being an Olympic champion."

EVAN: 'I'M UNATTACHED'

But Lysacek told ET in a Feb. 22 interview that he's single. He says:

"I'm single. I haven't had any time for dating while I'm training. I'm lonely."

Nastia, who traveled to Vancouver to cheer on her purported boyfriend, even posted a photograph of the duo on her Twitter account Monday.

EVAN: 'NASTIA IS A CLOSE FRIEND'

When asked whether he's dating Liukin, Evan says: "We're very close friends and she's been such a great inspiration to me over the last year and has given me great advice on subjects that she's been through that I haven't dealt with yet, and I'm honored to have her here."

Meanwhile, one thing that's undisputed is how lean and flexible Lysacek is. So what's his fitness secret? Yoga! Evan says he started doing yoga in 2009 to relax and unwind after long days training on the ice.

"I used to do power yoga," he says, "But the studio is over an hour drive away. So now I do it at home whenever I feel like I need it. Even just 10 minutes makes a difference. I can definitely feel it."

When asked whether he plans to compete in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, Lysacek said his gold-medal win on Feb. 18 still hasn't sunk in yet but he'd "love to be there" in four years.
