Rumors have been abuzz and the industry has been speculating about Salman Khan’s new leading lady in brother Sohail Khan’s upcoming film, “Mental.” Looks like, the team has found his perfect match, reports NDTV on March 7.
Although no official confirmation has been made, reports are making rounds that Kannada star, Daisy Shah will be Salman Khan’s co-star in “Mental,” which is a remake of Chiranjeevi's 2006-Telugu-superhit, “Stalin.” Along with her Kannada films, Daisy has also worked as an assistant to ace choreographer, Ganesh Acharya and done an item song in “Bloody Ishq.”
Apparently, Salman had seen Daisy’s work in the Kannada version of “Bodyguard” and was impressed. Later, that role was essayed by Kareena Kapoor in Hindi.
Much has been talked about this collaboration since Daisy was spotted shooting with the team of “Mental” in Dubai.
However, if one looks at the Telugu hit “Stalin,” it is evident that the leading lady does not have much to offer, with Trisha just having a small role in the film. It will be interesting to see if Daisy's role in "Mental" will just be a cameo, or will have some substance to it.
