Bachelorette contestant Wes Hayden serenades Jillian Harris the first night of the reality competition. He wrote a song just for her, but admittedly won't be able to finish the lyrics until he's gotten to know her better.
Smooth move, Wes.
Jillian falls hard for the country singer, giving him one of the night's 20 roses. But fans of the Bachelorette speculate Hayden has alternative motives. The Texan singer, who's claim to fame is a hit song in Chihuahua, Mexico, recently released a single, "You Still Get Me" from his album Full Circle. His MySpace site also says the Wes Hayden band will tour much of 2009.
Past contestants accused of appearing on the ABC dating show to improve their careers include actress Shane Lamas (daughter of Lorenzo Lamas) and singer Ashlee Willis, both contestants on Matt Grant's season, Bachelor: London Calling.
Do you think Wes is looking for love, or simply stirring up his fan base? Either way you look at it, the guy's a serious contender for the final four. We'll just see if Jillian moves him into the finals, or finally decides she doesn't want to hear the rest of that song.

It is very obvious that Wes is there to promote his career. I wouldn't be surprised if he does have a girlfriend. I love country music but I wouldn't buy any of his cd's if he is using people and possibly hurting someone because all he cares about is his career! He needs to go home! I hope Jillian sees right through him and finally sends him on his way!
Wes needs voice lessons. They guy can't sing. So it's no surprise he can't sell any CDS. This was not the route to take for exposure. He's been arrogant,conceited,and just downright rude,. Country music. Isn't about any of that. Wes will go no where with his music. Just because someone wants to be a singer doesn't mean they have the talent to be one. And Wes does NOT have the talent to be a singer.

Have you ever stopped to think...ABC is doing the editing of the show. They want us to think Wes is a jerk, I don't think he is. I love watching these shows, however I feel like they are being scripted and staged, could be wrong but they only show us what they want us to see. Keep in mind we only see 2 hours per week, that is not the only time they are all together.
I think Wes is Gay! He should take his cheezy song and go home.

I think Wes is a good boy. They will be together in the end. And one more, he wouldn't be so stupid to say that he has a girlfriend by ruing his career and his band.

yuck! Very self absorbed. Even though the show does show us what they want us to see, what
