Cady McClain, who portrayed Dixie Cooney Chandler Martin on ABC’s version of “All My Children,” might be headed back to Pine Valley, Soap Opera Digest reported on Feb. 6.
Prospect Park has not yet confirmed that McClain is joining the “AMC” internet revival, but considering the current small cast list of returning actors to “All My Children” that Prospect Park has announced, fans expect that Prospect Park will reveal another batch of returnees very soon.
Other actors confirmed to be joining the Prospect Park version of “All My Children” are Vincent Irizarry as Dr. David Hayward, Debbi Morgan as Dr. Angela Hubbard, and Darnell Williams as Jesse Hubbard.
Cady McClain, who came to Pine Valley in the 1980s as the innocent Dixie Cooney, soon came under the influence of Adam Chandler, portrayed by multiple Emmy award-winner David Canary. Adam kept Dixie from her one true love, Tad Martin, portrayed by Michael E. Knight. After many years of miscommunication and bad luck, Dixie and Tad were reunited in the final season of “All My Children” on ABC.
