Bethenny Frankel launched her self-titled talk show, Bethenny, nationwide in September. Since then, the show has been surrounded in controversy from difficulty getting guests to alleged feuds with her mentor, Ellen, to low ratings to fights with guests, Bethenny has been receiving nothing but bad press regarding the show. Now there is another rumor that is not going to make the Skinnygirl look good, is the multi-millionairess selling gifts from her talk show guests on eBay for a profit?
Naughty But Nice Rob and Blind Gossip are reporting that a famous talk show host who is very open about being cheap and is having difficulty getting guests has been caught asking her celebrity guests to sign books, perfumes and other products promoted on the show and then selling them on eBay.
While the name of the talk show host has not been revealed, all signs point to Bethenny. It is well known that Bethenny is having difficulty getting guests on her show and she is very open about being cheap and refuses to pay retail for anything, despite her highly successful Skinnygirl empire. Additionally, Bethenny has on air has asked guests to sign gifts that they've brought for her so that she can raffle it away for viewers (came across ungrateful to me) so it's not much of a step to ask them to sign gifts and then sell them on eBay.
It is also interesting that this blind item was first reported by Naughty But Nice Rob, is known to be a very good friend to Bethenny's former BFF turned frenemy/enemy, Jill Zarin. Therefore, it is not surprising that Rob would post negative stories about Bethenny.
Do you think Bethenny is asking for gifts from guests and then selling them on eBay?
