Is Artie Lange the next Brittany Murphy?
Brittany Murphy's death from cardiac arrest at the age of 32 has raised suspicious about just how 'natural' her death really was.
TMZ is reporting that Brittany Murphy was vomiting early Sunday morning and that she was taking prescription medication for flu-like symptoms. TMZ is also reporting that a source inside the home Brittany Murphy shared with husband Simon Monjack stated: "There were a lot ... a lot of prescriptions in the house."
Brittany Murphy had a long alleged history of heroin use and the news that she was found unconscious in her shower sounds a little too familiar to Jimmy Hendrix and Judy Garland fans.

Brittany Murphy's untimely death acts as an eerie reminder for Howard Stern Show fans that their own superstar heroin addict could go at any time. Most Howard Stern Show fans have been waiting to hear the news that Artie Lange was found dead in the shower in a pool of his own Hawaiian Punch vomit for years now. What's most shocking about the Artie Lange case is, perhaps, that he's managed to keep sliding down his slippery slope long after most of the world thought he'd hit rock bottom.
Artie Lange was absent from the final week of the Howard Stern Show before the holiday break. Sirius XM management ordered him to stay home for the week for reasons that Howard Stern refused to explain.
Artie Lange fans are hoping that Artie Lange is somewhere on a sober living ranch far away from Delaware and that he'll return to the show after the new year.

When I first read that Brittany Murphy had died, at first i thought it was her career, but now I found it it was just her.

Artie is broken beyond his ability to fix himself. He won't get help because he feels he doesn't need help. He's living the way he wants to live and there's nothing anyone can say to change that.
If he got clean & sober he'd have to confront his other issues, which he is not about to do. Deep down he knows he isn't funny and he knows he doesn't deserve the career he's throwing away. If he feels his life isn't worth living who are we to say any different?

Need to get an "examiner" for this section who doesn't try to imitate Howard's style as only Howard can do it and be funny. Howard is one of those cases where imitation is not flattery, it's just sad.
Facts are, Artie hasn't contributed much to the Stern show in a while now...hell, neither has Hampton Howie either, so to say that Artie fans hope that he comes back when the "shows" start up in the new year, is a bit off....believe me, I'm not the only fan of THSS that feels this way...SFN bitches!!
