Early Sunday morning, another "rat" has shown up in San Diego County and the rumors are that it is the artistic work of Banksy, the international graffitti artist that has been nominated for an Academy Award for best documentary "Exit Through the Gift Shop."
This one is much, much smaller and is located next to a sign that says, "No Dumping Private Property, Under Video Surveillance" on 9th and Emory Streets in Imperial Beach.
Yesterday, a "big rat" appeared on the exterior wall of Bull Taco Shop in Oceanside and is believed to be the work of Banksy. Did Banksy decide to hang around San Diego for another night, before going up to LA for the Academy Awards this Sunday? Possibly, but there is speculation that he won't even show up for the award show, but if he does, he will he be in disguise, and many of his fans will be watching tonight to see if he does.
So far, he hasn't appeared at any of the week's events, including the event at the Academy's Beverly Hills headquarters were "Exit Through the Gift Shop" won at the Independent Spirit Awards. Maybe that's because he was "vacationing" here in San Diego.
You can watch the Academy Awards tonight starting at at 8pm Easter Time of 5 pm Pacific Time on the ABC network. There will be several channels broadcasting live from the red carpet. On E! Channel they will begin airing their red carpet coverage at 2 pm Eastern time or 11 am Pacific time. The TV Guide Network (TVGN) will be covering the red carpet fashions starting at 4 pm Eastern time or 1 PM Pacific time.

Just because someone does a rat stencil the size of my hand, doesn't mean it's Banksy.
Banksy has posted neither on his site...
