Irvin Mayfield and NOJO to perform the songs of Ray Charles (Photos)

It's a new year - - - the slate has been wiped clean and now we can go on to experience new art, new joy, new memories, new music and laughter and magic.

So what better to aid in the creation of new memories then a performance by Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, or NOJO, doing the music of Mr. Ray Charles?

On Saturday, January 19, come join Irvin Mayfield and NOJO for the the Hometown Concert Series opener. The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra isn't just about performing great music either - although there would be nothing wrong with that if it was. NOJO's mission is "to inspire freedom and culture in the individual and the global community by creating authentic, engaging jazz experiences that celebrate the origins and transform the future of jazz."
