Irrefutable evidence the Obama adminsitration knew the Benghazi truth

The reason the Benghazi situation has never gone away, as the Obama administration had hoped, is because the facts are still there to be found. Judicial Watch reported Tuesday that a senior White House official advised then-National Security Adviser Susan Rice to resist calling the Benghazi attack one of terrorism and rather a spontaneous protest from a YouTube video.

Catherine Herridge, Fox News’ chief intelligence correspondent, said that a Sept. 14 email clearly shows White House Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes coaxed Rice into blaming a video and calling the attack a “spontaneous protest.” This even though transcripts have shown senior defense officials had informed the White House on the night of the event that the assault was indeed a terrorist attack.

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement, "Now we know the Obama White House's chief concern about the Benghazi attack was making sure that President Obama looked good. And these documents undermine the Obama administration's narrative that it thought the Benghazi attack had something to do with protests or an Internet video. Given the explosive material in these documents, it is no surprise that we had to go to federal court to pry them loose from the Obama State Department."

Fitton was referring to Judicial Watch utilizing the Freedom of Information Act request to obtain their damning evidence. Aside from Rice, Rhodes sent his memo to White House Press Secretary Jay Carney; Deputy Press Secretary Joshua Earnest; then-White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer; then-White House Deputy Communications Director Jennifer Palmieri; then-National Security Council Director of Communications Erin Pelton; Special Assistant to the Press Secretary Howli Ledbetter; and then-White House Senior Adviser and political strategist David Plouffe.

For the president or any of his subordinates to now say they “did not know” is a fallacy. Irrefutably at this juncture, the mainstream press has not done its job unearthing this information for over 18 months since the incident.

With clear evidence that the Obama administration lied about Benghazi, will the “journalists,” national networks and newspapers fulfill their job descriptions and stop playing partisan politics at the expense of their constitutional duties as The Fourth Estate?
