'Iron Man 3' and how Ellen Brandt is connected with Dr. Strange

According to ComicBook.com on March 13, there are theories on how "Iron Man 3" could incorporate Stephen Strange from the "Doctor Strange" Marvel comic into the Marvel cinematic universe. It appears Ellen Brandt, who will be played by Stephanie Szostak who is best known for her recent film "Dinner With Schmucks".

The comic book story line involved Man-Thing, Ellen Brandt, and Stephen Strange. She started her relationship with Man-Thing when the town's sheriff and his men decided to open fire on Man-Thing. Brandt stood in front of him to shield him from his destruction and Strange intervened and rescued her from meat shield-like demise.

Strange then recruited Brandt to help Man-Thing restore the Nexus of Reality, which is a gateway to all realities of the universe.

Though, one could only speculate that this same story line could take place in "Iron Man 3", it has been confirmed that in phase three of the Marvel cinematic universe that Doctor Strange will make his appearance. That being said, one could think that Ellen Brandt's existence in such a movie universe would introduce her to one of the Illuminati members.

So go and enjoy "Iron Man 3" which is slated for May 3 in theaters and it could shed some light on this Ellen Brandt character.
