Iron Boy Promotions announces their first show of the year (Photos)

Iron Boy Promotions announced it's first show of the year will happen Mar. 9, 2013 at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix. "Iron Boy Six," as it's called will feature some Arizona's best fighters, including the much anticipated pro debut of flyweight, Francisco C. De Vaca.

De Vaca, who had an amazing amateur career should quickly become a prodigy at the sweet science. He has been well groomed for boxing and it shows in the ring.

Also on the card will be super bantamweight sensation, Carlos Castro of Phoenix. Castro is trained by Andy Soto out of the Knockout Gym and is a ring beast to say the least. Expect to see pure talent with this kid, he has very good ring smarts and has amazing speed. This could be a break-out year for Castro as plans are made to fight him often.

The card is still in the works, and the bouts will be announced soon, but what we do know is that heavyweight Michael Hunter, super featherweight Chris Lopez, lightweight Victor Castro, lightweight Juan Garcia, flyweight Jesus Guerrero, and female Hondi Hernandez will be on the card.

Some amateur bouts are also planned for the show which will include female amateur boxer, Sulem Urbino Soto. She is exciting to watch and could be a hopeful for the 2016 Olympics in Rio. She often has to travel to find fights and does so at the drop of a hat.
