Iron Bowl 2013 Alabama VS Auburn Alabama Loses In Crunch Time

The Iron Bowl that was held at the Jordan Hare Stadium that is located at 251 South Donahue Drive Auburn Alabama on Saturday November 30, 2013 turned out to be a nightmare for the Alabama Crimson Tide team and all the Alabama football fans who sat and watched their team get defeated in the last second of the game.

Sad but true Alabama Coach Nick Saban elected to try for a field goal with only a few seconds in the game to win the game.

But Nick Sabans fatal mistake of electing to try for a field goal that caused the Alabama football team to lose the game when the field goal kicker kicked the football and the ball fell short and landed in the hands of an Auburn player who ran the football all the way back for a 100 yard touchdown.

The final score was Alabama 28 and Auburn 34 with Auburn winning the game by one touchdown and the extra point kicked for a field goal.

The decision of Coach Nick Saban to kick a field goal instead of electing to go into to overtime play time could be a decision that could haunt Coach Nick Saban for a long time and possibly discredit some of his coaching ability to always make good decisions in crunch time situations.
