Madame Alexander has released three cute little Irish-themed dolls for St. Patrick's Day 2013. All three are 8-inch fully-articulated Maggie dolls.
Madame Alexander's Maggie with her impish expression is a favorite of many collectors and a particular favorite of mine as I still own my childhood Maggie doll.
The "Lucky Enough To Be Irish" Maggie has green eyes, freckles, and a head full of Taffy Tan curls. Maggie wears a leprechaun-inspired outfit with green top hat. The doll is intended for ages 14 and retails for $99.95.
"Irish Eyes Are Smiling" is another cute Maggie with green eyes and blonde curls. Her green and black dress features green sleeves and white-and-tan striped ruffled ribbon accents. Flocked Mary Janes complete this wee look for a dear Irish lass ready for St. Patrick's Day! For ages 14, the doll sells for $84.95.
"Galway Shawl's" Maggie doll has blue eyes, freckles and upswept auburn hair. The doll's old-fashioned country frock combines a white bodice and sleeves with a green and grey floral skirt. A white, lace- trimmed, petticoat worn with white tights and black leather, laced shoes completes the Galway Shawl ensemble. Doll costs $99.95.
