Iris Krasnow to speak at Women’s Philanthropy luncheon in Las Vegas

Iris Krasnow, the author of “The Secret Lives of Wives,” will be the featured speaker at this year’s Women’s Philanthropy United Luncheon, March 14, 2013, 10:30 a.m., at the Venetian in Las Vegas.

Krasnow has profiled notables like Yoko Ono, Billy Graham, Ted Kennedy, Norman Mailer and Queen Noor of Jordan and is the author of "Surrendering to Motherhood," "Surrendering to Marriage, Surrendering to Yourself" and "I Am My Mother's Daughter.

The annual luncheon will be held on behalf of the Jewish Federation philanthropic programs. It will include a silent auction, a drawing from Bvlgari and a fashion show sponsored by Vasari.

“Each year the gathering collectively highlights the joy, inspiration and commitment of our community,” said co-chairs Galit Rozen and Rachel Ventura.

Women’s Philanthropy empowers women of all ages to make a difference for the Jewish community in Las Vegas and around the world through their volunteerism, leadership and contributions.
