The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2011 is online today and headed to a newstand near you after cover girl Irina Shayk was revealed in a Top 10 lineup last night on The Late Show with David Letterman (see video at left). Shayk, a model from Yemanzhelinsk, Russia, has appeared in the annual Swimsuit Issue each year since 2007. Check out the Sports Illustrated video at left for a closer look at her cover shoot, and see the slideshow at left for a gallery of her recent public appearances.
Inside the issue look for last year's cover girl Brooklyn Decker (Esquire readers voted her Sexiest Woman Alive in June 2010) and more than a dozen familiar Swimsuit Issue models, plus five rookies -- Shannan Click, Kenza Fourati, Izabel Goulard, Alyssa Miller, and Kate Upton -- wearing only painted on swimsuits.
Athletes featured in the issue include Paraguayan javelin thrower Leryn Franco, Brazilian surfer Bruna Schmitz, and American volley ball player Kim Glass (who also recently appeared nude in the 2010 ESPN Magazine Body Issue).
Three contestants from The Bachelor are aslo featured: Ashley Hebert, Michelle Money, and Chantal O'Brien.
