Following the success of their self-titled debut album and their massive platinum selling single, “Breakeven” - which has sold close to 2 million downloads here in America - Irish rockers, The Script are excited to get on the road again following the January 18th release of their sophomore album, Science & Faith.
The album, which was first released overseas, immediately garnered interest from critics and debuted at #1 in Ireland and the UK. Written and produced by The Script frontman, Danny O’Donoghue and guitarist Mark Sheehan, Science & Faith was recorded in both London and Los Angeles over the past year and is once again a testament to what The Script do best…pen emotion-packed songs that contain fluid melodies, haunting hooks and Danny’s soulful vocals riding high over huge, anthemic choruses. The poignant and stirring first single entitled, “For The First Time” currently charting Top 10 at Hot AC Radio is already resonating with people around the world.
In conjunction with the album’s launch, the band are happy to announce they will be back on U.S. soil for a string of headlining dates that will kick off in May and include an exclusive Philly-area performance at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts Friday, June 3rd.
Fans of the band who pre-order Science & Faith at www.sonymusicdigital.com/the-script will receive a unique code that will allow early access to tickets before the general public for the tour. Tickets for The Script live at the Mann Center will become available to the general public on Friday, January 28th at 10AM.
The Script is Danny O’Donoghue (vocals/keys), Mark Sheehan (guitar) and Glen Power (drums).
