She’s the 6’2,” 17 year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, and a former classmate of Kendall Jenner, and now she has inked a professional modeling deal. According to a RadarOnline article dated Sat. Mar. 9, Ireland Baldwin has now signed with an agency, and is traveling the country for shoots.
Ireland was the child of a once very public custody battle, when Basinger and Baldwin were seeking divorce. According to RadarOnline, she has been living with her Mom in suburban Los Angeles and attending Sierra Canyon School.
Ireland tweeted her excitement about her new opportunity earlier this week, “Officially working for @TwoManagement and @IMGmodels! I’m blessed, happy, and ready to WEEEEERK,” she tweeted this week.
Though Ireland has grown up in the spotlight as the daughter of two celebrities, the once little girl is now tall, and successful on her own terms. Ireland, who is dating Slater Trout, a professional paddle boarder has previously wrote that she most considers to be “family.” However, all in all, she looks to have a decent relationship with both of her red carpet parents.
“I used to have a huge family,” she wrote on Friday. “I feel like it’s getting smaller and smaller. I don’t really feel related to anyone anymore.
“Slater is my family now. My ride er die.”
As Ireland embarks on her new journey, she will likely be appearing in the spotlight more and more. With her height and her status combined, she has a head-start to taking the modeling world by storm.
