Iran to upgrade uranium development

Iran informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that it will speed up its uranium enrichment program, using more advanced centrifuges. IAEA officials have said that Iran will upgrade the enrichment equipment at its natanz plant. The new centrifuge equipment would be able to enrich uranium at a rate three times faster than the current equipment.

A Defense Ministry source was quoted as say that Israel was “concerned” over the news of Iran using more advanced centrifuge technology. This news will only make talks between Iran and the West more difficult.
