Apple's bigger phone model called the iPhone Phablet has been rumored for some time, but now many believe it will be here very soon. As of Jan. 7, 2014, I4U.com has said that the iPhone Phablet could be coming out as soon as May of 2014. These new products won't be a part of the iPhone 6 line that is expected to debut in Sept. 2014.
Reports state that the iPhone Phablet will have a display that is bigger than five inches and a 20 nanometer processor made by TSMC. It is either going to be a new A8 processor or a redone A7 CPU.
Currently, Samsung manufactures the current 64-bit A7 processor used by the iPhone 5s and the 2013 iPad models.
Going further into Apple's new products, reports out of South Korea say that the iPhone 6 will be coming to consumers in Sept. 2014. It is said to feature a slimmer profile than the 2013 release.
Oddly enough, those same reports from South Korea state that the iPhone 5s price will be doing down in May by at least $100. There are no exact reasons as to why this will happen, but it is believed to happen because of the iPhone Phablet release.
Apple has not given any confirmation to this yet, but all signs point to the rumors coming true.
