Will iPhone fingerprint scanning become a reality with the next version of the Apple device? That's the widely anticipated news, as many tech experts expect a big announcement from Apple on Tuesday. The Telegraph shared some interesting details on Sept. 9 that seem to reinforce the hunch that a fingerprint scanner is one of the key developments to be incorporated into the iPhone 5S.
There are a couple of photos leaked by the site C Technology, a Chinese site, that shows the iPhone 5S, and The Telegraph broke down the details. Though Apple had yet to confirm the newest model would be called the iPhone 5S, that is clearly seen on the leaked photos.
Also seen on the photos is a silver ring around the home button, which many believe is the rumored iPhone fingerprint sensor. This is just the latest in a solid string of leaks and information that indicate the fingerprint sensor technology may be the key difference between the iPhone 5S and previous versions.
What else will the new version incorporate that differentiates it from the iPhone 5? That much isn't certain, although there have been plenty of rumors. While many have been anxious for a larger screen option, and there are indicators that is in the works, it doesn't appear that will be coming into play in this version. Stay tuned for more on the iPhone fingerprint sensor topic, as the industry fully expects the big news to be revealed on Sept. 10.
