There is the full expectation that the latest iPhone will be revealed at Apple's event in Cupertino, CA on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013. Many believe that the the newest version will have the iPhone fingerprint, and some new leaked photos add a little more proof to that becoming a reality, per The Telegraph.
Chinese website C Technology leaked some photos showing the outside packaging for the iPhone 5S and it reveals a silver ring around the home button. This is believed to be a part of the fingerprint sensor that has been rumored for many month.
It also reveals that the latest model will indeed be called the "iPhone 5S." Nothing is confirmed, but everyone should know soon.
With the new technology, it is expected that security will be at an all time high for the new phone. Still, there are concerns that it could still be hacked even with the iPhone fingerprint sensor and Wired.com takes a look at if that is possible or not.
As the site points out, your fingerprint is left every single place that you set your hands down.
With that being said, fingerprint sensors have been hacked before in different ways, but Apple is at least looking to provide some extra security. Currently, a numeric lock can be place on your iPhone, but the fingerprint would give it that added step to make sure things are secure.
