iPhone cases: An opportunity for arts and crafts

iPhones and androids have taken over the world of communication. Although phones are technological devices they have opened the door for artistic elements, notably via phone cases. There is a seemingly endless array of options for cell phone decorations. From the girly and glitz glamorous to the sheer sleek plain black, phone cases can be either drab or eye catching, bland or shimmery. Yet these cases can also offer an opportunity to indulge your creative side.

For artistic individuals buying a blank phone case can lead to a world of artistic exploration. A trip to a craft store gives one the opportunity to purchase stickers and rhinestones and glitters—all things that can be used to design and decorate your own cell phone case. Such a project is very easy to do and mostly all of the products can be brought extremely cheaply.

Such a project is a great way to get your homeschooled child interested in the arts and a project like this is also a great way to add art into the curriculum (a subject that most traditional schools are phasing out of their programs). Best of all an endeavor like this gives the artist a chance to show off their creation every time they use their phone. It is a fun way to express yourself and give an artistic flare to a digital device such as a cell phone.
