Iphone ap's for fashionistas

The Iphone itself is a hot accessory with all the handy built in features, and it's sleek, stylish design.

Check out some of my favorite fashion and style ap's that are perfect for the fashionista in you!

1. shopstyle (free) This is one of my favorites. You can literally shop thousands of items at all price points. You can shop by category or designer, saving your favorites along the way. Once you find what you want to purchase, simply touch "Buy" and the ap will direct you to the brands website for purchasing. 

2. stylecom (free) A mobile version of their comprehensive and fully loaded website. View runway shows, both current and past, read blogs, vote on "Looks of the day", and even see what celebrities and socialites are wearing to the hottest parties and events, both nationally and internationally.

3. Mardos fashion trivia (.99 cents) A fun quiz for the know-it-all fashionista. A lot of history and designer facts. Find out how you rate on Lady Mardos runway.

4. TheFind (free) Not just for  fashionistas! Shoppers of all kinds can use TheFind to locate retailers in your current location that stock an item you are searching for. Use it for clothes and groceries alike. This ap is especially helpful when looking for something specific or obscure. I also like to use this one to comparison shop. When I find a product in a store, I can check other retailers to compare prices and make sure I'm getting the best deal in town.

5. Touch Closet ($2.99) Take pictures of your own clothes and shop online. Use the Outfits tool to put together different looks, and see how a possible addition will fit into your wardrobe before you buy it. You can shop by search phrase, what's hot, or by popular purchases. If you're not in the know with trends, this could be a useful tool.
